Earth-grown Alum Stone is a safe, natural and highly effective alternative. Natural and synthetic alums look similar. The only sure way to tell them apart – is the natural crystal breaks into irregular forms with irregular surfaces and every piece is different.

Volcanically formed alum crystals should not be confused with factory made deodorants which often use inferior, sometimes harmful synthetic chemical ingredients. Our alum crystals are simply collected from the desert surface/ volcano of Morocco, placed in sacks and then shipped to the UK.

Alum is generally safe for most people to use, but it is important to test it on a small area of skin before using it on a larger area. If you experience any irritation or allergic reaction, discontinue use.

As a natural deodorant: Run a piece of alum under cold water and rub the underarm area. Repeat as needed daily.

 As a natural aftershave: After shaving, run a piece of alum under cold water and rub the skin to disinfect cuts and reduce redness. You may feel a soothing, cooling sensation.

To tighten the skin and fight acne: Run a piece of alum under cold water and rub gently on the face or body. Rinse off after 5-10 minutes. Repeat daily.
