Aker Fassi Natural Lip and Cheek Stain

Encased in a traditional handmade terracotta clay pot, this Aker Fassi is a timeless Moroccan beauty ritual used for centuries to naturally tint the lips and cheeks. Crafted from just two botanical ingredients — poppy flower powder and pomegranate bark powder — it delivers a rich, buildable colour inspired by traditional Moroccan beauty practices.

The pigment can be layered to achieve your desired intensity and typically lasts for several hours before naturally fading, leaving a soft, natural-looking flush.

Due to the handmade nature of each terracotta pot, slight variations in size and shape may occur, making every piece unique. Each pot contains approximately 2–3 layers of naturally derived pigment.

Please note that colour payoff may vary depending on individual skin tone. You may wish to adjust the amount used to achieve your preferred finish.

Lightly dampen a lip brush with water or oil, then gently swirl it inside the terracotta pot to pick up product. Apply to lips and cheeks, blending as desired for a natural, buildable tint.

For best results, avoid using fingers, as the natural pigment may temporarily stain the skin. Reapply lip moisturizer as needed to maintain hydration.

This traditional Aker Fassi formula is crafted using a minimal blend of natural botanical ingredients, carefully selected for their role in creating its rich, buildable pigment.

It is made with Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Bark Extract and Papaver Rhoeas (Poppy) Flower Powder, two plant-based ingredients traditionally used in Moroccan beauty rituals to create its signature natural tint.

A small amount of Sucrose is included to help the pigment bind gently to the terracotta clay pot, ensuring ease of use while maintaining its natural compositio
